Purchasing Specialist

Overview:
  Kilton Motor Corporation is a leading affiliate of Bayfield Equipment Corporation, renowned for its innovative approach to manufacturing. As a full-time Purchasing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the procurement and inventory processes that underpin our successful operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and source required materials, components, and services
  - Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms
  - Manage procurement of raw materials, parts, and other supplies to ensure timely delivery and maintain optimal inventory levels
  - Liaise with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities meet their needs
  - Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities
  - Contribute to development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures

Requirements:
  - Relevant bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  - At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, technical buyer, or any related role
  - Strong negotiation and communication skills, with ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
  - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen eye for detail
  - Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools
  - Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management principles
  - Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
