Job Overview

The role of Database Administrator is pivotal in the core infrastructure of our global SaaS platform.

The database clusters, load balancers, and Linux/Azure systems you manage are the engine driving the entire platform—supporting thousands of companies around the world in real time.

Your work directly impacts the platform's speed, reliability, and scalability, enabling our rapid expansion into new markets.

  • Monitor and optimize MariaDB clusters and MaxScale load balancers for high availability.
  • Administer Ubuntu Linux servers on Azure VMs, including patching, tuning, and automation.
  • Manage and optimize Azure resources including Traffic Manager, load balancers, and networking.

You will be working with a small, highly skilled team responsible for the core infrastructure, which requires every decision to matter and your expertise to shape the foundation of a system that must be available 24/7, across multiple regions, without fail.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years as a MySQL or Maria DBA (cloud or hybrid).
  • Strong skills in MariaDB clustering and replication preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure administration experience.
  • Performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery know-how.
