Job Summary

The Medical Reviewer/PHRN role is a critical position in the medical review process.

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to prepare case files and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) assigned through our client portal.
  • As a Medical Reviewer, you will review and bookmark medical records, creating a synopsis to inform medical opinions based on a veteran's medical history.
  • Remotely assist medical providers during scheduled appointments by accessing and preparing necessary apps on their computer prior to the appointment.
  • Interview veterans via approved video or telephone conference platforms.
  • Transcribe medical histories based on DBQ answers.
  • Document physical examination findings in DBQ sections.
  • Complete DBQ spreadsheets after each appointment.
  • Meet with medical providers to discuss cases and determine final diagnoses.
  • Transfer data from DBQ spreadsheets to the client portal.
  • Submit completed DBQs and answer queries/addendum reports from QAs.
  • Coordinate daily appointments with medical providers and team members.
