As a Core Network and Facilities Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of core network systems and facilities to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.

About the Role

This position involves proactive monitoring, compliance assurance, asset management, and collaboration across teams to support projects and drive continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Performing operations and maintenance tasks such as health checks, backups, alarm clearing, troubleshooting, restoration, preventive maintenance.
  2. Overseeing the organization's facilities and ensuring a safe, efficient, and reliable environment.
  3. Supporting Engineering, TIER1 and TIER2 teams in projects and issue resolution.
  4. Updating site databases using CNFM digital tools.
  5. Monitoring and collaborating with support units on building structure, equipment layout, electrical power, and air conditioning/ventilation to ensure site facility system availability.
  6. Monitoring network criticality and escalating threshold breaches.
  7. Assisting the organization's tangible assets throughout their lifecycle (acquisition, maintenance, operation, disposal).
  8. Assisting in tracking and resolving corrective actions for findings.
  9. Monitoring compliance with policies and procedures, documenting, reporting, and addressing non-compliance.
  10. Identifying and escalating operational concerns and improvement needs.
  11. Project support involvement; reviewing TSSR (Technical Site Survey Report) and MOP (Method Of Procedure), participating in surveys and providing input, checking and monitoring project progress and compliance, participating in acceptance phase.
  12. Participating in trainings, meetings, cascades, and coaching/mentoring sessions.
  13. Participating in supplementary activities (audits, orientations, etc.).
  14. Collaborating and coordinating with other teams for fault restorations, corrective maintenance, and project support.
