Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers, as well as analyzing and responding to security events.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, or in-person
  • Analyze and respond to security events from Firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevention Systems, and other security data sources
  • Configure, manage, and upgrade Firewall, IDS, IPS, and IVS platforms
  • Interface with customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services
  • Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and to customers
  • Resolve problems independently and follow documented escalation procedures

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have intermediate skills/knowledge in some of the following areas:

  • Network security concepts & Information security best practices
  • TCP/IP networking
  • Cisco network security products
  • Fortinet security products
  • Palo Alto security products
  • Juniper / NetScreen security products

Additional Desired Experience:

  • 1 or more years of information security or networking experience
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
  • Self-managed and team-oriented
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Information Security or Networking
  • One or more certifications in Security/Networking including Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or other security-specific vendor/product certifications
