Observability & Reliability Engineering Expert

We're hiring a Monitoring & Incident Response Specialist to safeguard system uptime. Build world-class observability, lead incident response, and drive reliability across our platform.

Job Summary

As an Observability & Reliability Engineer, you'll take ownership of monitoring, alerting, and incident management for production systems. You'll design dashboards, build alerting pipelines, and use automation to reduce toil while ensuring system uptime.

You'll work at the intersection of engineering and operations—quickly identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving improvements that prevent recurrence. You're passionate about keeping systems stable, proactive in detecting anomalies, and experienced in coordinating response during critical incidents.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or IT Operations roles.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Skilled in scripting for automation (Python, TypeScript, or Bash).
  • Experience running and improving incident response processes.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and document learnings.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud environments is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Clear communicator under pressure, especially during incident calls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Team player who collaborates effectively across dev, infra, and ops.
  • Comfortable with on-call rotations and handling production issues.

Above and Beyond

  • Experience in high-uptime or mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of advanced reliability engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with low-code automation tools for operational workflows.
  • Open-source contributions to monitoring or incident tooling.
  • Cloud certifications.
