Risk Assistant Specialist

The role of Risk Assistant Specialist plays a vital support function to one of the risk advisors, focusing on daily insurance operations, client documentation, and coordination tasks to ensure smooth servicing of accounts.

This position involves providing dedicated professional and administrative support to a risk advisor, with a focus on daily insurance operations, client documentation, and coordination tasks. The ideal candidate has a background in supporting brokerage account managers and possesses strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated professional and administrative support to one risk advisor (account manager).
  • Assist in preparing insurance quotations, proposals, and renewal documents to support client servicing.
  • Accurately process and input data into web-based insurance systems, CRM systems, and editable PDFs.
  • Maintain and update client records and policy information in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and issue certificates of insurance as requested.
  • Gather and organize client data to prepare insurance policy applications and other supporting documentation.
  • Has knowledge of managing billing processes with both clients and insurance carriers.
  • Organize and track outstanding documentation, including policy subjectivities and compliance requirements.
  • Draft and send professional communications to clients, insurers, and other stakeholders on behalf of the risk advisor.
Requirements:
  • Previous insurance industry experience (agency, brokerage, or carrier).
  • Familiarity with insurance terminology and processes.
  • Experience with insurance management systems or CRM systems.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working closely with one risk advisor in a support-focused role.
  • Excitement to learn insurance concepts and go above and beyond.
