About the Role

This position requires a skilled and experienced leader to oversee business growth initiatives, drive strategic development, and build high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute tactical plans to drive new business pipeline generation targets for Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Grow Business Development Reps using proven strategies and frameworks.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor to BDRs, providing guidance on goal attainment, sales best practices, and technology stack expertise.
  • Conduct regular review meetings and team 'huddles' to share knowledge, experiences, and success stories.
  • Support direct reports in increasing conversion rates and creating more pipeline opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment, and HR teams.
  • Maintain alignment with Field Sales teams through active participation in sales meetings.
  • Monitor performance against key KPIs and drive the team towards exceeding expectations.
  • Promote innovation, suggest process improvements, and represent the company at events.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of business development principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in leading high-performing business development teams.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of information security concepts and industry landscape.
  • Proven ability to develop talent that progresses through the organization.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a virtual cross-functional team.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree level or relevant experience equivalent.
  • 4+ years' experience leading Business Development or Inside Sales teams.
  • 2+ years' experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.
  • Proficient in PC and various software applications (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
