Key Responsibilities- Data Entry and Reporting: Ensure accuracy of data entry and compliance with service levels.
- Application Processing: Assist mortgage brokers in gathering necessary documentation from clients, prepare and submit mortgage applications to lending institutions.
- Client Communication and Service: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on the status of their mortgage applications, address client inquiries and assist in resolving issues.
- File Management: Organise and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, monitor and follow up on outstanding documents or information.
- Lender and Partner Liaison: Communicate with lending institutions and other partners to facilitate a smooth mortgage approval and settlement process, monitor Lender service levels and ensure matters are followed up and promptly escalated when appropriate.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on mortgage industry policies, trends, and best practices.
- Confident verbal and written English communication skills.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in the Australian mortgage industry, with a good understanding of Australian mortgage processes and status milestones.
- An understanding of Australian Privacy requirements.
- Proficiency in using office software and CRM tools.
- Reliable, positive, and a good team player.
- Competitive salary.
