Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to 5 bookkeepers and accountants
  • Provide guidance on financial matters and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, billing accuracy, and financial reporting data
  • Manage lease accounting for Vertical Farming
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key processes for continuous improvement
  • Participate and support in business system upgrades

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree as a minimum
  • Strong understanding of core accounting principles and practices
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Technologically proficient with remote work tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams)
  • Experience in a financial role in a multi-disciplined organization
  • Sound technical skills in financial reporting, internal control, budget development
  • Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook intermediate to advanced
  • Strong attention to detail with sound analytical and numerical skills
  • Well-organized and capable of meeting deadlines across time zones
  • A willingness to learn and develop
