Senior Cloud DevOps Professional

Our team seeks an experienced and skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. They will be responsible for driving our cloud strategy and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Expertise:
    • Develop and maintain expertise in cloud architectures, particularly AWS.
    • Proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.
  2. Continuous Deployment:
    • Design and implement automated pipelines, integrating various tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  3. Container Management:
    • Manage and support container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, enhancing scalability and flexibility.
  4. Observability and Security:
    • Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions such as New Relic and apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure from potential threats.
  5. Infrastructure as Code:
    • Automate repetitive tasks using IaC principles with tools like Terraform, streamlining the deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  6. Release Management and Automation:
    • Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, integrate test automation into CI/CD processes, and ensure seamless code releases.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and related fields.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of DNS and security certificates, and their use in managing websites and securing services.
