About the RoleThis position requires a Senior Backend Developer / Tech Lead who can design and implement Back-End Services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience with back-end competences and knowledge/experience in Openshift/Kubernetes, GraphQL, Liquibase, Spring JPA, Spring Security, and public cloud platforms.
The successful candidate will be part of an agile development team responsible for implementing the Avaloq Crypto Assets Platform. They will work closely with architects to understand architectural strategy, policies, and patterns.
- Design and implement Back-End Services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
- Work as part of an agile development team in line with the product roadmap
- Improve code quality via Unit and Integration tests
- Follow and promote best coding practices within the team
- Perform code reviews and coach junior team members
- Take ownership and responsibility for his area of expertise
- Guide, coach, and train the team to excel
