Job Title: Mobile Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between parties who speak different languages.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent language skills, including fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese. You will also have the ability to work independently in a quiet and secure environment, utilizing your own mobile phone with Android 12 or iOS 15 or later.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpret conversations between callers and emergency operators during live calls from 911.
  2. Convey messages accurately and ensure that both parties understand each other.
  3. Work rotating shifts for up to 9 hours at any time following the required schedule by the client within 24 hours.
Requirements:
  1. Fluent in English (Read & Speak & Write)
  2. Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese (Read & Write & Speak)
  3. Must be working from home in a quiet and secure environment
  4. Own mobile phone with Android 12 and above or iOS 15 and above
  5. Must be willing to work rotating shifts for 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client within 24 hours (Night Shift)
  6. Entitled to 2 days off in a week, which will be rotating any day
  7. Must be willing to work on public holidays as the operation is 24/7.

Additional Information:

A 3-week training program will be provided in the daytime (Monday to Friday) with a training allowance.
