Benefits Administration Specialist Senior

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Benefits Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Enrollment Processing: Process new enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefit plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Benefit Communication: Communicate benefit options, changes, and updates to employees through various channels, including employee meetings, email communications, and online portals.
- Benefit Guidance: Provide guidance and assistance to employees regarding their benefit options, eligibility criteria, coverage details, and enrollment procedures.
- Annual Open Enrollment: Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including preparing communication materials, conducting enrollment meetings, and assisting employees with benefit selections.
- New Hire Enrollment: Manage the enrollment process for new hires, including eligibility verification, enrollment forms distribution, and enrollment system updates.
- Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators.
- Benefit Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits programs, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
- Benefit Notices: Prepare and distribute required benefit notices, disclosures, and reports to employees and regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Benefit Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records, including enrollment data, coverage elections, beneficiary designations, and premium deductions.
- Benefit Analysis: Generate reports and analyze data to monitor benefit utilization, costs, and trends.
- Benefit Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of benefit policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Process Documentation: Document benefit processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Employee Support: Provide responsive and customer-focused support to employees regarding benefit inquiries, claims issues, and coverage questions.
- Employee Education: Conduct employee education sessions and workshops to promote awareness of available benefits and encourage participation.
