Bartender Job Description

This is a bartending position where you will provide excellent service to our guests and ensure they have an enjoyable experience.


The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. They must also have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.


Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, serving drinks, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The bartender must also be knowledgeable about our menu, including beer and cocktail pairings, and be able to expertly craft cocktails according to our recipes.


Additionally, the bartender must follow all city, state, federal, and company guidelines for serving alcoholic beverages, including verifying age and reporting any concerns or issues to management. They must also be able to accurately operate a POS system, address guest service issues promptly, and refer guests to management when necessary.


Other responsibilities include keeping the bar area clean and orderly, performing opening, closing, and side work, and complying with all food and beverage regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety policies. The bartender must also report any violations or concerns to management and perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of related experience in a similar work environment, bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred, current Food Handler's Card, and RBS Certification. The ideal candidate must also possess basic math skills, the ability to manage cash, process credit cards, and work the cash register, basic computer skills, including internet use, email, and typing skills, and the ability to use the company's timekeeping system and point of service system.

Education And Certifications
