Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that support business-critical operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant applications.

You will be responsible for leveraging strong expertise in PHP (Laravel framework), front-end technologies, and Python for data integration, automation, and backend processes.

  • Design and develop full-stack web applications using modern technologies.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
  • Leverage Python for automation, data processing, and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including participation in sprints, stand-ups, and iterative planning.
  • Practical experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies to support robust code quality.
  • Basic server setup and configuration.
  • Linux/Bash proficiency.
  • Experience with Docker environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Version control (Git).
  • CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
  • Strong experience with relational databases and query optimisation.
  • RESTful API development and integration.
  • Python for backend services, automation, and data workflows.
  • Front-end development with JavaScript and React.
  • PHP 8.1 and above with knowledge of MVC frameworks and adherence to PSR standards.
