Job Description:

The Survey Engineer will be responsible for collecting and analyzing demographics of construction projects prior to and during the start of construction. This involves conducting surveys using different surveying tools and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update project schedules based on survey results and outcomes.
  • Develop methods to address problems that may cause delays in construction projects.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project In-Charge to develop project objectives.
  • Provide design and technical plans by preparing sketches, maps, and descriptions of land surveys needed before construction begins.
  • Record survey results, including shape, location, contour, elevation, and dimension of land or land features.
  • Evaluate survey measurements and estimations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Delegate tasks to subordinates based on their skill sets and experience.
  • Capture and analyze data findings with Project Engineers – Housing and Land Development.
  • Communicate with Project Managers and Project In-Charges to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Attend daily safety toolbox meetings to share updates on ongoing projects and discuss safety concerns.

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in Geodetic Engineering is required.
    • Knowledge of various surveying methods is essential.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, AutoCad, GPS, and other engineering-related software is necessary.
    • A PRC License is preferred.
    • At least 2 years of experience in the same field, preferably in vertical projects, is desired.
    • Salary is negotiable.
