Key Role Overview

This is a crucial position that involves overseeing the DBA team and ensuring seamless operations of our databases. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, documenting, and maintaining processes that align with our business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to management on DBA team activities.
  • Defining and maintaining DBA team processes.
  • Responsible for upgrades, performance monitoring, installations, managing replications, diagnosing system problems, disaster recovery testing, and maintaining user accessibility.
  • Resolving complex issues involving database performance, capacity, resiliency, stability, replication, and other key aspects of distributed database technology.
  • Providing database administration, security, and production support in both cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Managing physical database design and implementation, security implementation, and monitoring.
  • Providing hands-on technical expertise and senior-level guidance to staff and teams as necessary.
  • Researching and recommending solutions that meet business needs and operational requirements.
  • Collaborating with application development teams to implement and support data-oriented development efforts.
