">Job Description">
  • Develop and maintain web software products that meet the needs of our global client base, utilizing industry-standard best practices and modern software engineering techniques.
  • Participate in Agile software product development teams to develop full-stack web components and features.
  • Partner with all software product development disciplines to deliver maintainable and reusable solutions that follow cyber security standards and application performance benchmarks.
  • Embrace, implement, and evangelize test automation as part of the fabric of the team.
">Key Responsibilities">
  1. Design, code, test, and debug new product enhancements for commercial software products.
  2. Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and reusable solutions that follow established standards and guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with peers and junior team members to conduct code reviews and mentoring.
  4. Participate in the evaluation of emerging technology and tools.
  5. Contribute to the definition of development best practices and principles to enable WTW to deliver industry-leading technology solutions.
  6. Provide support and advice to more junior members of the team.
  7. Participate and recommend prioritization through the project implementation process.
">Requirements">
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related software development experience and applied knowledge using Agile Scrum software development life cycle.
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of software design principles such as SOLID, DI/IoC, and Continuous Integration.
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with the full Microsoft technology stack, including .NET/C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, JSON/RESTful experience, ORM such as Entity Framework or NHibernate, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, web SaaS, multi-tenancy application development, SQL Server development experience, GIT, Confluence and JIRA.
  • Experience with front-end technologies and approaches: SPA, Angular, Bootstrap, Typescript.
  • Experience developing applications requiring internationalization and localization for global markets.
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Knowledge in Azure development with Azure cloud computing (Azure VM, Kubernetes, SQL Azure, Batch, etc.) is a plus.
  • Micro-services experience.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development.
  • Experience with identity frameworks (SAML 2.0, IDP, SP, etc.) a PLUS.
