About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our R&D team. You will take ownership of designing and implementing backend architecture, building scalable services, and managing deployments/DevOps. This is a standalone role — you'll be expected to work autonomously with minimal supervision, driving projects end-to-end.

While prior experience in AI, machine learning, or computer vision is not required, it will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement backend architecture for scalable and secure systems.
  2. Build APIs and services to support data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
  3. Manage deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  4. Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
  5. Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
  6. Work independently, taking ownership of technical decisions and solutions.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience (senior-level).
  2. Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages: Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask) – preferred; Node.js, Go, or Java – also highly valued.
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
  1. Background in AI, computer vision, or machine learning product development.
  • Experience with GPU-based deployments (CUDA, TensorRT, etc.).
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
