Naval Architecture Professional

The role of a Naval Architect entails designing, developing, and maintaining vessels to meet specific requirements. As part of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that structural deliverables align with project schedules, flag regulations, and Classification Society standards.

This position necessitates effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including design teams, production units, and external partners. Strong technical skills and the ability to resolve complex problems are essential for success in this field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Naval Architecture/structural calculations, drawings, requisitions, reports, investigations, and trials as required.
  • Evaluate and verify compliance with vessel specifications, flag regulations, and Classification Society standards.
  • Collaborate closely with design, production, and project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of tasks and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Naval Architecture marine design within new shipbuilding projects.
  • Strong understanding of classification society and Flag rule requirements.
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are highly valued.
