Web Development Expert Sought for Remote Opportunity

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled web development expert to join our team on a remote basis. As a Front-end WordPress developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly interfaces for our website.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build high-quality web applications using modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Transform wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and build scalable UI components with WordPress.
  • Work collaboratively with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.
  • Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.
  • Manage the on-site search engine optimization (SEO) of our website.
  • Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code that adheres to industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of experience in developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • A portfolio of at least 5 websites that demonstrate expertise in front-end development.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Expertise in ACF and Gutenberg.
  • Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
  • Basic proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.
  • Experience with responsive web design.
  • Familiarity with W3C and W3GAC html standards.

What sets the best apart from the rest include knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue, proficiency in Sketch and Invision, and experience in Webflow.
