Job Overview

The Section Manager for Physician Relations at St. Luke's Medical Center plays a crucial role in enhancing relations between potential and current medical staff members to maximize the physician's ability to improve patient care quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintaining profiles on physician practices, analyzing activity reports, and developing strategies to address referral patterns and areas of interest.
  2. Designing programs to contribute self-pay revenue from doctors.
  3. Planning and coordinating outreach events, networking meetings, and referrals.
  4. Recruiting and on-boarding new physicians, including hospital orientation, leadership introduction, and follow-up on specific interests.
  5. Supporting the Associate Director in establishing relationships and communication with physicians, promoting executive visibility and strengthening ties between Physicians and the Medical Center.
  6. Fostering open communication to ensure physician satisfaction with the hospital's level of care.
  7. Serving as a mediator to resolve communication difficulties, grievances, or conflicts.
  8. Crafting policies and collaborating with business units and executives to align the organization.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or Public Relations.
  2. At least 3-5 years of relevant managerial experience.
  3. Experience in developing and implementing physician relations initiatives is an asset.
