The Financial Analyst plays a vital role in providing financial advisory and control services, enabling the company to make sound financial decisions and drive revenue growth.

Profit Management

  • Prepares regular financial management reports and analysis that impact profit.
  • Identifies opportunities for profit maximization and sustainability.
  • Implements solutions to business problems.
  • Analyzes and interprets financial reports to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Works closely with Jollibee Group on financial reporting requirements.
  • Closely coordinates with store operations for financial matters such as store funds, adjustments, scrap sales, and transactions affecting the P&L.
  • Ensures RBU implementations align with SBU policies and processes.
  • Monitors spending across RBUs, reviewing opex and capex to ensure alignment within set budgets and policies.
  • Evaluates and analyzes current spending processes, recommending improvements.
  • Maintains a financial information database for the RBU.
  • Provides financial advisory services to Finance Head and RBU Head.
  • Prepares financial analysis for new stores and renovations, ensuring compliance with new store metrics guidelines.
  • Maintains and updates the new store financial matrix, providing enhancements for better decision-making.
  • Prepares store valuation for ownership transfers, ensuring assumptions are agreed upon with store operations.
  • Evaluates viability of capital-spending projects.
  • Conducts financial training to enhance competency levels of operations and other divisions.

Budget Management

  • Prepares sales and P&L budgets for all stores in the RBU.
  • Ensures timely and accurate completion of annual budgets.
  • Provides analytical support for the annual operating plan.
  • Assists budget owners in understanding financial results and conducts budget orientation.
  • Consolidates, reviews, and recommends approval of SBU budgets.
  • Reviews actual results against budget and provides in-depth analysis for top management decision-making.
  • Provides monthly monitoring and analysis of actual results versus budget to all divisions.
  • Ensures adherence to cash control and inventory management policies.
  • All capex and opex spending is within policy.
  • All stores have insurance coverage.
  • Store closure and Change in Ownership policies are being followed by our stores.
  • Actively participates in Corporate Audit projects.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: College graduate, preferably with a course in BS Accountancy or a Finance-related field.

Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in Finance Planning or Budgeting or Controllership.

Work setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days work-from-home).

Skills and Essential Traits:

  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
