Research Assistant - Temporary Assignment

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support research and animal care operations in a temporary assignment.

This is an entry-level position that requires close supervision and adherence to established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the animal colony and laboratory facilities in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain animal colony and laboratory facilities
  • Perform physically active duties throughout the day
  • Assist with research projects and animal care operations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and care
  • Strong interest in animal care and research support

Benefits:

  • $15.00 per hour
  • Opportunity to learn and pursue AALAS certification

Additional Information:

The selected candidate will work under close supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures. This is a temporary assignment with a fixed duration.
