This role is responsible for championing this culture using technology to scale regulatory adherence and continuously improve policies, training, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approval of high-risk client assessments: Review 100% of escalated high-risk cases within 2 hours, provide feedback to the compliance officer on oversights, and present each case to the Head of Compliance for final approval within 4 hours.
  • Timely management of screening alerts: Ensure no name screening alerts are outstanding for more than 24 hours; no transaction monitoring alerts unresolved beyond 48 hours.
  • Quality review and reporting: Conduct quality reviews of Low/Medium/High-Risk cases (at least 20% of each category) and prepare a quarterly findings report with remediation suggestions.
  • Investigation timeliness and STR filing: Complete/review at least 80% of investigations within 15 calendar days; file required STRs within 5 calendar days of closing the investigation.
  • Improvements to on-boarding and ongoing monitoring: Identify and recommend improvements in client KYC, risk assessment, transaction monitoring or screening processes, to be implemented with Product and IT teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Compliance Officer.
  • Ideal location in Singapore.
