Mathematics Editor

We are seeking a skilled mathematics editor to join our team. The Associate Textbook Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing manuscripts for junior high school textbooks.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Alignment: Ensure manuscripts meet required standards by checking curriculum alignment.
• Plagiarism Check: Verify manuscripts for plagiarized content and suggest revisions as needed.
• Manuscript Review: Review manuscripts and suggest points for improvement to authors.
• Edit Manuscripts: Edit submitted manuscripts regarding content, language, and grammar.
• Author Coordination: Coordinate with authors until the textbook is polished and meets required standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in General Education/Mathematics or related field is required.
• Linguistic Skills: Strong grasp of English language is essential.
• Editing Experience: Capable of editing content, grammar, language, etc. of junior high school textbooks.
• Mathematical Knowledge: Familiarity with mathematical concepts for junior high school is necessary.
• Previous Experience: Knowledge or previous experience in editing and proofreading is beneficial.
• Work Habits: Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines is expected.
