Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Specialist to join our team in the Private Sector Financial Institutions Division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and investment, with experience in leading the origination, development, and processing of financial sector transactions through ADB Board approval and financial closure.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a pipeline of financial sector projects, identifying opportunities aligned with strategic goals
  • Leading the end-to-end processing of financial sector projects from concept development through Board approval and financial closure
  • Overseeing due diligence activities, including financial modeling, risk analysis, and mitigation in structuring loans, equity investments, guarantees, B-loans, or other forms of ADB assistance
  • Ensuring successful deal closure, working with internal and external counsel to finalize legal documentation following approvals and achieve financial close promptly
  • Implementing and administering private sector investments in financial institutions, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines, procedures, agreed covenants, and reporting requirements through financing effectiveness

The Senior Investment Specialist will work closely with internal and external teams to ensure the success of these transactions.
