Senior Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for finance and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily Margin Reports: Partner with Operations to complete timely and accurate margin reports, ensuring seamless integration with financial planning and performance metrics.
  • Data Sources and Discrepancies: Provide expert support on data sources and discrepancies, offering insightful analysis and recommendations on cost estimations, including wage rates, taxes, benefits, PTO, and other allocated expenses.
  • Weekly Review Calls: Hold regular review calls with Operations to discuss trends and performance, forecasting, and develop action plans to optimize monthly results.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze month-end financials versus actual results, providing in-depth variance analysis and follow-up on opportunities to improve data accuracy.
  • Monthly Forecast Process: Assist Operations in completing the Monthly Forecast Process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Forecast: Understand all assumptions that go into building the financial forecast, identifying areas for improvement and recommending data-driven solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Hold monthly review calls with key stakeholders to discuss forecast changes, prior submissions, plans, and trends.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Finance from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Demonstrated analytical aptitude to identify opportunities for change, alternative best practice solutions, and anticipate future problems and opportunities.
