We are seeking a leader to direct and scale our remote operations team.

This senior leadership role requires someone with strong finance and bookkeeping skills, and proven operations management experience who can build efficient systems, oversee diverse operational functions, and manage both internal teams and external consultants across areas they may not personally specialize in.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of operations management experience, preferably managing remote or distributed teams. They will also have a strong finance background with hands-on experience in financial operations and compliance.

Responsibilities include fostering a collaborative remote work culture, overseeing bookkeeping and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, monitoring cash flow, and optimizing budgeting processes.

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for directing a team of 4-8 operations specialists, providing strategic guidance, performance management, and professional development for team members with diverse skill sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fostering a collaborative remote work culture and recruiting/onboarding new team members as the company scales
  • Overseeing bookkeeping and accounting operations including A/R management, billing cycles, payment processing, and financial reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining relationships with CPAs and external financial advisors
  • Monitoring and optimizing cash flow, budgeting processes, and annual planning processes
