Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT cloud supervisor to lead and oversee our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its efficient operation. As a key member of our team, you will serve as both an internal and external thought leader in cloud infrastructure, data center design, and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Cloud Infrastructure Supervision:
    • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify problems, fix bugs, document incidents, and implement preventive measures.
    • Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and virtualized environments.
    • Automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
    • Monitor and manage cloud performance and implement robust security measures.
    • Set up monitoring dashboards, define thresholds, establish alert setups, and define reactions.
    • Oversee cost management and optimization for cloud services.
    • Lead cloud projects and ensure their timely and successful delivery.
    • Manage a team, ensuring KPIs and deliverables are met on time.
    • Review and approve cloud and network documentation standards and procedures.
    • Conduct annual and ad hoc reviews of cloud and network standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or any related field is required.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure platforms and service solutions, including delivery, implementation, or maintenance is required.
    • At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing network solutions is necessary.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Expertise in identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities is essential.
    • The ability to explain how to avoid network vulnerabilities is crucial.
    • Information security certifications such as ITIL, CEH, CompTIA, or CISSP are a plus.
    • An in-depth understanding of monitoring concepts, alert mechanisms, log monitoring, anomaly detection, and dashboard creation/setup is required.
    • Strong experience with computer/storage and virtualization infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity protocols is necessary.
    • Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD) and APIs is beneficial.
  • Technical Experience:
    • Familiarity and experience with Oracle and MSSQL databases are desirable.
