Senior Tax Professional

We seek a seasoned tax professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in tax preparation, collaboration, and staff supervision.
The primary responsibilities of this role include preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns, supporting accounting functions, and facilitating communication between teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, and 990 with precision and timeliness.
- Collaborate closely with internal accounting staff to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Review trial balances, fixed asset schedules, and reports for adherence to regulations.
- Effectively communicate with clients via clear and professional correspondence.
- Supervise outsourced staff, assign tasks, and review deliverables.
- Stay current with tax regulations through ongoing research and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- 3–4 years of bookkeeping experience with strong general ledger knowledge.
- 2–4 years of tax return preparation experience (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 990).
- Proficiency in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- This is a full-time position within the accounting industry.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are essential.
