Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Software Development Specialist to join our team in Asia. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
  • The successful candidate will design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software delivered on time and within budget.
  • Responsibilities include working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements and drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • The selected candidate will provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project, develop program logic for new applications, and analyze and modify logic in existing applications.
  • Ongoing responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing, and maintaining software applications, as well as ensuring system improvements are successfully implemented.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • C, C++, SQL, and Unix programming skills are required, with payments experience a plus (POS, Switch, ATM, Card Management, etc.). Knowledge of FIS products such as IST and Cortex is also beneficial.
  • A strong understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational, and time management skills are required, as well as self-starting abilities and good oral and written communication skills.
