As part of this role, you will provide technical assistance, administer the Construction Quality Management Program, and ensure project site safety.
Responsibilities:- Supervise assigned projects to ensure compliance with approved design and standards.
- Manage construction projects, prepare cost estimates, quality assurance, and implement safety standards.
- Guide workers, liaise with vendors, and inspect material quality.
- Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvement.
- Validate quantity, condition, and approval of materials on site before issuing invoices.
- Attend and witness selected tests, review applicable test reports, and results.
- Keep the Government sponsor informed about project status under your control, but plan and execute tasks independently.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Engineering Technology.
- Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
- Experience handling road, large slab, pavement concrete projects.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or QA/QC Engineer.
- Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements and expertise in hazard identification and safety compliance.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to different project sites.
