The Digital Room (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a skilled Prepress Specialist/Graphic Designer to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring that client files are ready for pre-press and print. This involves receiving, reviewing, and preparing proofs of client files in a timely manner to meet projected deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review client files for printing readiness
- Prepare proofs of client files for printing
- Maintain productivity and quality standards to achieve client satisfaction
- Collaborate with the imposition and production teams to guarantee high-quality printed materials
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree in Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, or equivalent
- Proficiency in InDesign, Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with printing concepts such as pre-flighting, trapping, file in position, overprinting, knockout, bleed, image resolution, and RGB to CMYK conversion
- Ability to troubleshoot, preflight files, and work under tight deadlines
- Strong eye for detail and quality control
- Flexibility to work on a shifting schedule and render overtime if needed
