Job Overview

The Web Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of web-based products and services. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly experiences.

  • This includes leading by example, demonstrating sound engineering principles, and challenging team members to grow professionally.
  • Maintaining well-tested and documented software in Web technologies or Flutter.
  • Debugging and resolving issues encountered by users.
  • Participating in code and architectural reviews.
  • Collaborating on technical specifications.
  • Contributing to technical documentation.
  • Improving engineering and operations practices.
  • Deploying and operating services developed by the team.
Requirements
  • A strong background in web and software development.
  • An academic track record that demonstrates intellectual ability.
  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an alternative narrative about their educational path.
  • Experience designing and writing high-quality Web technologies.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, or Flutter.
  • A keen eye for accessibility and performance.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
