Job Title: Insurance Accounting Senior Specialist

At Hunter's Hub, we are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Accounting Senior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of auto interface entries in SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile auto interface entries posted in SAP daily to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Raise concerns to the officer in case of any variances noted.
  • Assist the officer in coordinating with other teams in case of discrepancies.
  • Propose entries as needed.
  • Prepare a recording of journal entries in line with financial statement close process and deadlines.
  • Prepare entries to record Insurance Accounting transactions, including premium adjustments and accrual of benefit expenses.
  • Assist the officer in coordinating with other teams in case of discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of Subsidiary ledger and General Ledger balances for accounts assigned to the Insurance Accounting.
  • Prepare payout for Facultative Re-insurance Payments.
  • Create disbursement voucher for pay-out to facultative premium.
  • Prepare various monthly and/or quarterly reports as needed by the Management.
  • Assist in preparation of Financial Statement Disclosures.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software.
