Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Interior Millwork Drafter to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed custom furniture shop drawings, conducting rendering and takeoffs, and ensuring precise execution of designs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in furniture drafting, millwork detailing, and technical documentation for fabrication. You will work closely with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure compliance with project requirements and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed millwork and furniture shop drawings based on architectural and interior design specifications
  • Generate accurate takeoffs and material lists to aid in project estimation
  • Develop high-quality 3D renderings to visualize design concepts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure drawings are fabrication-ready with correct dimensions, joinery details, and material specifications
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in millwork drafting, furniture detailing, or interior architectural drafting
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and Mozaik (or similar millwork software)
  • Strong understanding of joinery, materials, and furniture construction methods
  • Experience in rendering software for design visualization
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate them into detailed millwork shop drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate technical drawings
