We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineering Lead to join our team at TASQ Staffing Solutions.

Job Summary:

Achieve data engineering excellence in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based data platforms and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based data architectures using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse.
  2. Liaise with clients' architects and resources to ensure alignment of architectural designs and approaches for implementation and approval.
  3. Implement proof-of-concept solutions in Azure to validate technical feasibility and provide recommendations for improvements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and discuss new change requests, management processes, and schedules.
  5. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture-related documentation such as PSAs.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in cloud data engineering and architecture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures using Azure services.
  2. Strong understanding of data governance principles and data modeling concepts.
  3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  4. Familiarity with Azure Security best practices and compliance requirements.
  5. Bonus points for experience with Avanade accelerators, Archimate, and SAP knowledge.

Minimum 7 years of experience is required.
