Mid-Senior Level Infrastructure Engineer

This is a senior-level infrastructure engineer position at a top staking service provider with over $3B of assets staked across its validators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build secure and reliable systems to monitor, detect and mitigate performance and security issues.
  • Perform system administration activities for Linux servers, including routine, proactive daily management of the health, stability, and availability of system infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security best practices and industry trends.
  • Develop and communicate threat models and risk assessments for all systems operated.
Requirements
  • Experience as DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer.
  • Ability to program in one or more languages like Python, GoLang, Bash or Javascript.
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements.
  • Designed secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Set up and maintained software in both data centers and cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of sockets, full networking stack, and Linux security.
  • Built automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies.
Nice to Have
  • Understanding of the blockchain space and blockchain technology.
  • Cryptography knowledge and security best practices.
  • Contributions to open source communities.
