Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Goods Flow Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our warehouse.

Your primary goal will be to maximize stock accuracy and ensure the highest product availability for customers. You will achieve this by effectively utilizing IKEA systems and equipment, as well as maintaining accurate data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will perform daily tasks in your assigned area, working collaboratively with colleagues to optimize the goods flow process.
  • You will contribute to an optimized daily goods flow operation within the assigned goods flow processes by working in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious way.
  • You will support the achievement of agreed goals within the Goods Flow Team and participate in goal-setting processes.
  • You will adhere to IKEA health, safety, and security guidelines, rules, and regulations, preventing untoward incidents in the store.
RequirementsYour Profile
  • You have a genuine interest in home furnishing and an understanding of what people want in their homes and the IKEA product range.
  • You possess at least 1-2 years' experience working in Warehouse/Logistics operations, preferably in the retail industry.
  • You know how to manage your time effectively, able to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
  • You have good attention to details, achieving accuracy in all aspects of your work.
  • You are a quick learner, able to ask questions when unsure.
  • You are flexible and adaptable, open to new ideas and changes in ways of working.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team but can also work independently.
Working Conditions

This role requires flexibility in work hours, with approximately 25 hours per week on average. Depending on store operational requirements, you may work on public holidays and weekends.
