Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Financial Governance Specialist to support our international finance operations and ensure compliance with local audit, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements across multiple global entities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Statutory Compliance Management
    • Prepare, review, and coordinate local statutory financial statements for international subsidiaries in partnership with third-party accounting and audit firms.
    • Filing of financial statements and other statutory reports in accordance with local laws and deadlines.
  • Compliance Partnership
    • Partner with internal teams (Accounting, Tax, Legal, Treasury) to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements while maintaining alignment with U.S. GAAP.
  • Audit Support
    • Support statutory and tax audits, including gathering documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and coordinating resolution of findings.
  • International Finance Operations
    • Liaise with local finance teams, shared services, and external accounting providers to ensure seamless financial compliance operations.
    • Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely execution of statutory deliverables globally.
  • Regulatory Research and Development
    • Research evolving regulatory requirements in foreign jurisdictions and recommend necessary process or policy updates.
  • Process Improvement
    • Assist with transfer pricing documentation, legal entity rationalization, and other international finance projects as needed.
    • Implement process improvements to streamline statutory compliance activities and strengthen internal controls.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and local statutory accounting regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
