Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing data analytics capabilities and solutions.

You will work directly with our Commodities and Global Markets business to develop data catalogue, data science workbench, visualisation tools and real-time analytics. You'll also work with our public-cloud based data lake and data pipelines for internal operational data and external fundamental and alternative market data.

About the Role
  • Develop data analytics capabilities and solutions using Python.
  • Work with our Commodities and Global Markets business to identify and prioritize data-driven projects.
  • Design and implement data catalogues, data science workbenches, visualization tools, and real-time analytics.

Skill Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in developing, debugging and running Python code in production.
  • An interest in data and automation.
  • A self-starter with the ability to solve problems.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Exposure to open-source data stack (Parquet/Iceberg, Presto/Trino, Airflow, Hive), cloud data warehouse technology (AWS Redshift, Spectrum) and data science platforms (Dataiku) is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
