Job Title

A consultant is needed to set up and implement a SharePoint Hub for a client. The consultant will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the hub.

  • Design and Build the SharePoint Hub: Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into a clear hub structure, categories, and navigation. Create a menu/navigation design, connected sites, permissions, and document libraries.
  • Implementation & Development: Implement and develop the SharePoint Hub according to the design specifications.
  • Configure Features: Configure features such as version control, multi-language support, and restricted access (internal only).
  • UI/UX Setup: Apply client branding guidelines to create a clean, user-friendly interface.
  • Maintenance: Perform light updates, troubleshoot issues, and adjust menus/permissions as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in SharePoint Online / SharePoint Hub implementation.
  • Knowledge of taxonomy, metadata, and navigation best practices.
  • Hands-on skills in UI/UX customization within SharePoint.
  • Strong communication skills for occasional client calls.
  • Ability to act as an all-rounder: architecture, build, and admin.
