About the Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating SME borrower applications, analyzing financials, and applying a structured credit framework with curiosity and sound judgment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough borrower assessments and prepare clear, evidence-based credit recommendations.
  • Review and interpret financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) to evaluate creditworthiness.
  • Interact directly with borrowers to gain deeper insights into their credit profile.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams to support seamless credit processes.
  • Collaborate with global credit leaders to strengthen underwriting practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize credit tools, models, and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2–5 years of experience working in credit risk, financial analysis, or SME lending
  • Strong background in financial analysis
  • Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python for handling data and underwriting
  • Understanding of how credit scoring or statistical models work
