Job Description
  • Support colleagues on valuation projects, analyses, and other needs of clients by applying financial models, building forecasting models, and managing deliverable schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist in various ad hoc projects, including data analysis, equity valuation, and client deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in Statistics or Mathematics, Finance, Economics. Other majors will also be considered.
  • 0 – 2 years of experience in a data analysis, financial modeling, or an actuarial role.
  • Having industry certification (e.g., Actuarial exams, CCP, CECP, or CEP) is a definite advantage.
  • Superior listening skills, the ability to develop insightful questions, and identify and implement the appropriate strategy to successfully address the client's issues.
  • Ability to learn and absorb concepts quickly and independently.
  • Flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique right answer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VBA a plus), PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience in basic programming, particularly in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, for interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to collaborate well with colleagues in other offices in a fast-paced, team environment.
