Job Description

As a Senior Print and Packaging Designer, you will concept, drive, and execute creative designs to support overall brand strategy, storytelling, and product positioning for multiple brands in various markets. You will preserve brand consistency across all printed materials and designs while maintaining sight of corporate identity.

You will have a firm understanding of budgetary restraints while maintaining brand standards. Your contribution to the development of our brand will be focused on establishing a stronger consumer base with the help of attractive packaging designs. You will collaborate with a global team of designers and report to the Design Team Lead and Head of Design.


Responsibilities
  • Create exceptional print, editorial, and packaging designs for the in-box experience.
  • Create visually striking visual and editorial storytelling.
  • Present and communicate creative objectives and articulate concepts to internal cross-functional team members.
  • Research and develop visual trends for packaging needs.
  • Manage press runs, color review of drawdowns, BATs, proofs.
  • Take ownership of managing the design & development process to ensure deliverables deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with Creative Operations to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with third-party production houses and print partners: offer creative consultations, recommend paper and material solutions.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive production files.
  • Evaluate prototypes and samples to ensure conformity to production files and resolution to quality issues.

About You
  • BA in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role, designing packaging for FMCG products especially food and beverages.
  • Strong portfolio of print, packaging & graphic design.
  • Fluency with Adobe CC Programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Experience with organizational tools such as Jira, Sprout, Slack.
  • Understanding of printing standards and design principles.
  • Strong technical understanding in developing packaging from concept through to final product.
