Lewis Glanz Consulting seeks a seasoned Technical Lead for our Software Factory Section.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee the capacity of Software Developers based on their technical skill groups. This role involves delivering programs that will upskill and cross-skill team members to meet resource requirements of projects in the pipeline. The selected candidate will also deploy resources to projects based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of resource requests from Business Relationship Account Managers.
  • Identify and deploy the most suitable Software Developer(s) for each project.
  • Review solution documents prepared by Solution Architects to ensure they align with project objectives and company standards.
  • Maintain close supervision of internal and external developers working on projects, addressing issues promptly and escalating concerns to the Department Head when necessary.
  • Prepare regular capacity status reports.
  • Manage personnel responsibilities including recruitment, selection, supervision, performance appraisals, training, and staff development to ensure adequate and current skill sets.
  • Take on development lead functions such as technical design review, source code inspection, and defect management for projects involving internal or external developers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A solid foundation in Java programming (not JavaScript).
  • Experience in conducting assessments and deploying software developers based on project requirements.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • The ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
