Job Opportunity:

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst role is a key position within our organization, responsible for the detection and investigation of security events across our global network, endpoints, and cloud environments.

This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills to monitor, investigate, and document security alerts, alarms, and incidents. The SOC Analyst must stay up-to-date on current threats and processes to effectively respond to potential attacks.

  • Security Incident Investigation
  • Developing and Implementing Security Monitoring Processes
  • Susceptibility Assessment and Anomaly Detection from Various Data Sources
  • Effective Communication during Security Incidents
  • Collaboration with Data Asset Owners for Business Response Planning
  • Support for Compliance Audits (Client and Regulatory Standard Audits)
  • Maintenance of SOC Team Performance Metrics (SLAs and KPIs)
  • Enhancing SOC Process Effectiveness
  • Participation in Containment during Security Incidents
  • Tuning Existing Use Cases for Improved Accuracy
  • Basic Knowledge of Malware Analysis

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Familiarity with System Logs and Interpretation
  • Demonstrated Enthusiasm for Information Security
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills for Effective Communication with Both Technical and Non-Technical Stakeholders
  • Preferred Hands-on Experience in Security Operations Center
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience in Information Security or Equivalent Education
  • Experience with SOC Teams and Processes
  • Knowledge and Experience in SOC Best Practices
  • Strong Understanding of SIEM and EDR Monitoring Incident Management
  • Knowledge of Firewall Monitoring and Incident Management
  • Knowledge of Cloud Monitoring Incident Management
  • Knowledge of DLP Alert Monitoring
  • Foundational Knowledge of Network Technologies, Windows and Linux Operating Systems, Web Application Technologies, and Cloud Technology
  • Understanding of Threat Hunting and Forensic Analysis
  • Risk Management Skills
  • Vulnerability Management Skills are a Plus
  • Attention to Detail, Curiosity, and Inquisitiveness
  • Team Player
  • Technical Writing Skills are a Plus
  • Leadership Experience is a Plus.
  • Ability to Work in Different Shifts
