Job Description
The Sales and Business Development Professional will play a crucial role in driving business growth by:
- Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations to clients
- Liaising between suppliers and customers to ensure seamless transactions
- Facilitating marketing activities such as participating in industry events and exhibitions
- Maintaining strong relationships with sales channels and monitoring customer payments
- Preparing and submitting monthly sales reports to management
- Participating in regular sales meetings and conferences to stay updated on industry trends
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a Science-related field, such as Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition, or Biochemistry
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, research and development, or technical service, preferably in the food industry or home and personal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
- Strong problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals
